Alex - upper elementary

Today we measured garlic and recorded the growth rate.  I learned that irrigation pipes are very expensive and that if a tractor comes to mow down a yard or something you have to pull out the irrigation pipes or they will get broke.  We checked our rain gauge and recorded how much rain we have had.  Then we checked the temperature gauge and recorded the high and low.  After we did that we got seeds out of three different pumpkins and then we composted.  We learned how pumpkin seeds are roasted.  Edwin had roasted some for us and they were really, really good.  Ms. Betsy brought pumpkin pie that she had made.  But, there's only one thing I eat out of a pumpkin and that's the seeds.  Then I use it for Jack 'O Lanterns.
