Today Farmer Mark taught a lesson in composting. As usual, the lesson was a hands-on work session. After turning the compost material by shoveling it from one bin to the next, the students then moved on to the beds to remove some spent plants. And they took most of those plants where? They carried them back across the farm to the compost bins the the compost cycle can begin again.
